I recently created a mini design board featuring pretty pastels and neon brights & it went down a storm. I also threw in a hint of gold for an added touch of luxury. If you want to get away from a neutral colour palette, then this colour scheme would be perfect for a boy or girls modern nursery, bedroom or playroom. Neon doesn't have to be overpowering but little touches here & there add areas of interest and vivid bursts of colour. I would opt for a plain white paint for the walls but to continue the pops of colour you could try painting the skirting and door frames in a gorgeous colour like Ida from MyPaintHouse
Pick out hue or a theme, from pinks, peach or florals and your can begin to inject splashes of neon in your accessories, bedding or lighting.
The Kip & Co velvet pea cushions used in this mini design board are in sugary pastels Orchid Pink & Peach Skin and I continued this theme with the Lorena Canals throw and armchair. The pops of neon were added in the beautiful neon pink Rose in April stool, our OYOY neon pink wooden elf and a Little Lovely Company neon light.
If there are any items on our mini design board that I haven't listed and you would like to know where to purchase them from please get in touch.
